Linnet Clough is fully equipped to provide a comfortable and convenient experience for campers, whether you’re here for a weekend camp, a large event, or a longer stay.
Our facilities are designed to support Scouts, Guides, and other youth groups, offering everything from modern toilet blocks to a well-stocked camp shop and fully equipped kitchen facilities. Below, you’ll find everything you need to know about our on-site amenities.
We have three toilet blocks spread across the site, all providing hot water and regularly checked for cleanliness. No matter where you’re camping, you’ll always have access to essential facilities.
Our newest toilet block at the camp centre is warm, modern, and accessible. It has separate sections for over 18s (male and female) and under 18s (boys and girls), each with a disabled cubicle and lower shower.
Underfloor heating keeps it comfortable year-round, and a backpacking sink at the back is perfect for washing up during expeditions.
Centrally located, these toilets are older but clean and well-maintained. They are close to most camping areas and have a separate entrance for the showers.
While fully functional, they do not include disabled facilities. Regular checks ensure they remain in good condition throughout your stay.
Situated near the Lynmouth field, this block includes male, female, and disabled toilets with showers, plus two unisex showers at the back.
Three wash stations at the front make freshening up easy. These facilities are cleaned regularly and provide convenient access for campers at the top end of the site.
Our camp shop is stocked with everything you might need during your stay, from souvenirs and badges to drinks and snacks. Whether you need a quick sugar boost or want to pick up a keepsake from your visit, the shop has you covered.
When the shop is closed, there are three vending machines outside, ensuring that sweets, drinks, and snacks are available at all times. Nearby, you’ll also find a postbox and a payphone, useful for sending letters or making calls when mobile signal is unreliable.
*The shop is only opened upon request by a leader. Please book in advance with the office to avoid disappointment!
For those who wish to attend a religious service, there are several local places of worship nearby, covering different denominations:
For a quiet place of reflection on-site, our Chapel is available for everyone to use. Whether you’re gathering for a Scout’s Own service or simply looking for a peaceful space, it’s a calm and welcoming area set aside for personal or group reflection.
No camp is complete without a traditional campfire gathering, and our large campfire circle is the perfect place for it.
Surrounded by tall trees for a sheltered feel, the area is set up with log seating, making it ideal for storytelling, singing, and bonding around the fire.
Located at the bottom of the camping fields, it’s a great space for bringing groups together for a memorable evening.
Whether you’re cooking on-site or looking for a quick meal, there are plenty of food options nearby.
If you need a quick bite after a long day of activities, there are several takeaways in the local area, perfect for groups or individuals:

We hope you won’t need them but sometimes things happen and its good to be prepared.
